Cairnsmore

The Cairnsmore is the largest of the Shennanton houses. It is spacious and elegant and ideal for entertaining in a grand manner. For a large party taking the whole of Shennanton House, the large drawing room makes a perfect gathering place.

The original front door of the mansion in now the entrance to the Cairnsmore , and has an impressive porch and castellated parapet. The staircase has been restored to its former beauty with its easy to climb shallow steps. There are original fitted wardrobes and tiled fireplaces, and the large drawing room has patio doors to the croquet lawn and garden.The panelled dining hall is warmed by a log fire (in addition to central heating) and has a long table. All bedrooms overlook the gardens, woods or golf course.
